When Arbaaz Khan was preparing to marry Sshura Khan in December 2023, his former girlfriend addressed their breakup in the media. Despite stating that they remained ‘very good friends’, Arbaaz has expressed disappointment with the timing of her interviews. Speaking to the Indian Express, he referred to Giorgia’s recent interviews as “unfortunate” and “a little inappropriate”. He argued that her statements implied he moved on quickly after their breakup, which wasn’t the case. Arbaaz revealed that he ended things with Giorgia one and a half years before meeting Sshura.

“It’s unfortunate that I have to clarify, but my previous relationship ended almost one and a half years before I met Sshura. I dated her for a year. Those interviews didn’t provide a timeline, creating the impression that I swiftly moved on. But that’s not true. I wasn’t dating anyone for almost a year and a half until I met Sshura. That’s the reality,” said Arbaaz Khan.

“The timing of someone discussing a breakup around the time of my wedding and afterwards seems inappropriate. If you broke up almost two years ago and didn’t have the chance to talk about it then, speaking up now doesn’t seem right,” added the actor. Arbaaz Khan tied the knot with makeup artist Sshura Khan in a private wedding ceremony in December. The nikah ceremony occurred at Arpita Khan’s residence, with Salman Khan and family in attendance. Shortly after the wedding, Arbaaz shared pictures with his bride on social media.

Before marrying Sshura, Arbaaz was wed to Malaika Arora for 19 years. They got married in 1998 but announced their separation in March 2016 and finalized their divorce in May 2017. They have a son named Arhaan.
