OnePlus Ace 3 Teases Flagship-Tier OLED Display
OnePlus is set to launch the Ace 3 in China next week, and additional details about the smartphone have been unveiled. The brand has disclosed the display specifications, confirming that it will feature the same high-end OLED panel found in the OnePlus 12.
This panel, officially known as 8T LTPO, boasts 800 nits manual brightness and 1,600 nits in Auto mode. One of its remarkable features is the 4,500 nits peak brightness, earning the panel an A+ rating from DisplayMate.
The upcoming phone is anticipated to be released as the OnePlus 12R in late January, coinciding with the global launch of the OnePlus 12 flagship. According to the brand, the Ace 3 will feature a metal frame and a frosted glass panel on the back. It will maintain the seamless design for the camera island, consistent with the aesthetics seen in the previous two generations of high-end OnePlus phones, and will be available in attractive Blue or Bronze colors.
A teaser has also unveiled that the alert slider on the OnePlus Ace 3 will offer three modes – silent, vibrate, and ring. While it’s not a new feature, as it has been a part of several phones in the company’s lineup, OnePlus is highlighting it for the Ace 3. Additionally, during the January 4 launch event, OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus Buds 3 TWS earphones, promising enhanced sound quality and improved wind isolation for calls.
