IPL 2024 Auction: Complete List of Players Bought and Unsold


In a heated bidding war between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders, West Indies T20 captain Rovman Powell fetched an impressive ₹7.40 crore, exceeding his base price of ₹1 crore, making him the first player to be sold in the IPL 2024 auction.


With 10 teams, 332 players, and only 77 available slots, the auction witnessed intense competition. While some players found lucrative deals, others remained unsold. Notably, teams like Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, and Rajasthan Royals showed interest in overseas fast bowlers, including Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Geral Coetzee, Lockie Ferguson, and Wayne Parnell.


The demand for wicketkeepers was evident, with players like Phil Salt, Josh Inglis, and Kusal Mendis likely to attract attention. Among overseas batters, Harry Brook, Travis Head, and Rachin Ravindra are expected to secure significant bids.


For Indian players, Shivam Mavi, Kartik Tyagi, Umesh Yadav, Manav Suthar, Shahrukh Khan, and others are worth keeping an eye on.
