Esha Deol recently shared a motivational message on her social media platform alongside a captivating picture. This post comes following her announcement of divorce from her husband Bharat Takhtani in February.
Dharmendra and Hema Malini’s daughter, Esha Deol, along with her husband Bharat Takhtani, who exchanged vows in 2012, recently announced their separation in a joint statement earlier this month. Nearly two weeks after their public announcement, Esha took to her Instagram account to share a photo of herself along with an uplifting caption.
In the Instagram post, Esha is seen wearing a hat and sunglasses, exuding a confident aura. She captioned the image with the words, “No matter how dark it gets, the sun will rise.” The couple had been married for 12 years and are parents to two daughters.
Among the responses, Farah Khan Ali, sister of Sussanne Khan, commented, “You are gorgeous. You are beautiful. You are strong, and don’t let anyone make you doubt that.” Another fan expressed concern, writing, “Looking gorgeous ma’am. Hope you are ok.”
The former couple released a statement to Delhi Times, expressing, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this transition in our lives, the well-being and best interests of our two children remain our top priority. We kindly request that our privacy be respected during this time.”
Esha and Bharat first crossed paths during their school years as teenagers and later began dating in their 20s. Reflecting on her marital journey into a “joint family,” Esha candidly discussed the adjustments in her book “Amma Mia,” published in 2020. She shared, “When we got married in 2012, there were many things that changed. Of course, once I began living with his family, I couldn’t roam around the house in my shorts and ganjis like I used to.” However, she expressed appreciation for Bharat’s family, describing them as “wonderful” and noting how they embraced her seamlessly.
