OnePlus has introduced its second-generation watch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, unveiling the OnePlus Watch 2 with a slew of enhancements over its predecessor, which debuted in India in 2021. These improvements include extended battery life, enhanced design, upgraded features, and it operates on Google’s latest Wear OS 4.
Design of the OnePlus Watch 2:
Taking inspiration from the design language of the OnePlus 12 series, the latest OnePlus Watch 2 features a 2.5D sapphire crystal cover and a chassis crafted from US military standard MIL-STD-810H stainless steel. Additionally, the smartwatch boasts IP68 water and dust resistance and weighs approximately 49g without the strap and around 80g with the strap.

The OnePlus Watch 2 sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 SoC coupled with the BES 2700 MCU Efficiency chipset. OnePlus states that the Snapdragon chipset manages resource-intensive tasks such as handling Google apps, while the Efficiency chipset is dedicated to background activities and simpler tasks. Operating on Google’s Wear OS 4, the OnePlus Watch 2 offers a single configuration with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
Equipped with a 500 mAh battery, the OnePlus Watch 2 promises up to 100 hours of battery life in ‘smart mode’ and up to 48 hours under ‘heavy use’. The device supports fast charging via a 7.5W VOOC charger, enabling a full charge in just 60 minutes.

Priced at ₹24,999 in India, the OnePlus Watch 2 will be available for purchase from 12 pm on March 4, 2024, via major online platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance, Croma, and OnePlus Experience stores. Additionally, OnePlus is offering a ₹2,000 instant discount for customers using the ICICI Bank OneCard for payment. Furthermore, users can avail an additional ₹1,000 discount by linking their device to the Red Cable Club between February 26th and March 31st.
