Oppo has officially announced the Oppo F25 Pro 5G as the next addition to its F series lineup in India, set to launch later this month. Along with unveiling the launch date, Oppo has provided a glimpse of the device’s design and some key specifications. From the available information and its appearance, the Oppo F25 Pro 5G seems to be a rebranded version of the Oppo Reno 11F 5G, recently introduced in Indonesia. While only one color variant, Lava Red, has been confirmed so far, there’s speculation about additional options, possibly including a blue finish.
The Oppo F25 Pro 5G boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Panda Glass. According to the press release, the device offers a remarkable 93.4 percent screen-to-body ratio and a slim thickness of 7.54mm. On the rear, it features a triple-camera setup housed within two vertically aligned circular modules, including a 64-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 112-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Oppo highlights the device’s AI-powered camera features, such as AI Smart Image Matting, enabling users to extract subjects from photos as transparent PNGs for easy sharing. Additionally, AI technology enhances beauty filters and portrait mode for aesthetically pleasing results, akin to features seen on iPhone models since iOS 16.
While specific specifications weren’t disclosed, insights from the Oppo Reno 11F 5G, believed to be the global variant of the F25 Pro, suggest it may feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
