Rajamouli, the renowned Indian filmmaker, makes the inaugural ticket purchase for “Salaar.”

Renowned director SS Rajamouli recently purchased the first ticket for the upcoming movie “Salaar,” which stars Superstar Prabhas. The film is scheduled for release on December 22nd. In a unique promotional strategy, Rajamouli recorded a joint interview with the key figures associated with the film, including Prabhas, Prithviraj, Prashant Neel, and Vijay Kirangadur of Hombale Films.

“Mythri Movie Makers,” the Nizam distributor for Salaar, sold the first ticket of the film on the sets during the interview. Rajamouli reportedly acquired the first ticket by paying a substantial amount, rumored to be more than ₹10,000. Although the exact price wasn’t disclosed, Mythri Movie Makers released a picture of the moment.

Rajamouli has been actively supporting film promotions by purchasing the first tickets for various major releases. His gesture of backing his friends in the industry and contributing to the promotion of their films is commendable. Rajamouli is set to watch the first show of Salaar at Sandhya Theatre, RTC Crossroads, Hyderabad.
