Salman Khan Responds to Viral Video with Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the renowned Bollywood filmmaker, celebrates his birthday today, February 24. Throughout his illustrious career, he has collaborated with numerous Bollywood icons such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, among others. Recently, an old video of Salman Khan expressing his feelings towards Bhansali has resurfaced on Reddit.

In the video, Salman Khan can be heard expressing his feeling of being “offended” by Bhansali’s decision to cast Shah Rukh Khan in his films after Salman delivered two successful hits for him. Salman remarked, “I don’t know about other people but he has definitely offended me. I gave him two hit films and then he took Shah Rukh Khan in the next one.”

The resurfaced video of Salman Khan’s candid remarks about Sanjay Leela Bhansali sparked a variety of reactions from fans and observers. There were earlier reports of a potential reunion between Bhansali and Salman for the film Inshallah, which was also set to feature Alia Bhatt in a lead role. However, the project faced delays and was ultimately stalled due to creative differences between the director and the actor.

Currently, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is preparing for the release of his upcoming web series, HeeraMandi. The historical drama series explores the lives of courtesans during the Indian Independence struggle in the 1940s. Following this project, Bhansali is reportedly taking a departure from his signature period films. He has signed Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, and Ranbir Kapoor for his next film titled Love And War, which is said to be a love story rather than a period drama. Further details about the project are yet to be revealed.
