Early Life:
Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam, Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. She has a younger sister who works as a research assistant in Leuven, Belgium. Andrea attended National Public School and graduated from Women’s Christian College in Chennai. She initially aspired to be a psychiatrist but developed an interest in music and acting during her college years. She learned classical piano from a young age and was part of a musical troupe called Young Stars. Andrea was also actively involved in theatre and was the President of the Student Senate at Women’s Christian College.

Career:
Andrea began her acting career with theatre productions and appeared in advertisements and serials before making her film debut. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film “Pachaikili Muthucharam” in 2007. Since then, she has appeared in numerous commercially successful films across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema, including “Annayum Rasoolum”, “Vishwaroopam”, “Tadakha”, “Endrendrum Punnagai”, “Aranmanai”, “Loham”, “Thoppil Joppan”, “Taramani”, “Vada Chennai”, and “Aranmanai 3”.
Andrea has also ventured into playback singing and has sung several popular songs for composers like Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Anirudh Ravichander, Thaman, Devi Sri Prasad, and G. V. Prakash Kumar. She has received nominations at Filmfare and Vijay Awards for her singing. Additionally, Andrea produces her own music and has composed songs and albums.
