Tribal Model Suman Khila Receives Heartwarming Welcome in Koraput After Impressive Performance in Telugu Movie

Suman Khila, a budding actress and tribal model hailing from Koraput, showcased her acting skills in the recently released Telugu film “Mangalavaaram.”

A resident of Semiliguda in Koraput, Khila returned home to a warm and enthusiastic welcome after a six-month-long shoot for the movie.

Expressing her gratitude, Khila said, “It is overwhelming for me. I never expected such a welcome in my village. I am humbled to see so much love and affection for me.”

Suman completed her schooling in Semiliguda and pursued fashion designing and modeling at NIFT.

“I had an inclination for modeling and acting since my school days. I am already working towards my entry into the Hindi film industry. As far as Odia films are concerned, I will definitely consider it if a good script is offered to me,” Khila added.

Reflecting on her Odia heritage and the talent in Koraput’s youth, she said, “I want to work for the youths of Koraput. In fact, I am already working for them. Promising talents from this area will definitely get a chance to work in future projects.”

“Mangalavaaram” is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language psychological mystery thriller film written and directed by Ajay Bhupathi. Released on November 17, 2023, in five Indian languages, the movie is produced by Swathi Reddy Gunupati, Suresh Varma M., and Ajay Bhupathi, under Mudhra Media Works and A Creative Works. The music for the film was composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.

The movie is set to release on the Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform today.
