Revised Dates for CBSE Class 10th and 12th Board Exams
The CBSE has made revisions to the date sheet for Class 10th and 12th board exams in 2024. The updated exam schedule is accessible on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.
According to the modified timetable, Class 12 exams will now take place from February 15 to April 2, 2024. Previously, the exams were set to conclude on April 5. The revised dates for Class 12 exams are February 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, and March 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 30, and April 1 and 2, 2024.
For Class 10 exams, the last exam, originally scheduled for March 21, has been moved to March 13, 2024. The starting date remains unchanged, i.e., February 15. Class 10 exams are scheduled for February 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 26, 28, and March 2, 5, 7, 11, and 13, 2024.
The exams will commence at 10:30 am. The timetable was devised considering the dates of competitive exams such as JEE Main and NEET.
CBSE mentioned in an official notice that these date sheets were crafted to avoid more than 40,000 subject combinations, ensuring that no two subjects’ exams for a student coincide on the same date.
