Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, one of Bollywood’s most celebrated couples, made their first public appearance since announcing their pregnancy. The couple was spotted at the Mumbai airport, where they coordinated their outfits in white and were seen holding hands.
Deepika opted for a white top and matching palazzos, elegantly covering her baby bump with a white cardigan. She accessorized her look with a brown sling bag and dark sunglasses, flashing a radiant smile for the cameras.
Ranveer complemented her attire with an all-white ensemble, including a T-shirt, pants, shoes, and a cap. He accessorized with dark sunglasses and a silver locket, adding a touch of contrast to his outfit. As they walked through the airport, the couple graciously accepted a bouquet of flowers from the paparazzi, responding with warm smiles.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s announcement of their first baby comes shortly after speculation began circulating on social media following Deepika’s appearance at the 77th BAFTA awards, where she was photographed with her midsection covered.
In an Instagram post, the couple revealed that their baby is due in September 2024, accompanied by a picture featuring baby shoes and clothing.
Their industry colleagues, including Priyanka Chopra, Shreya Ghoshal, Vikrant Massey, Madhuri Dixit, Sonam Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt, extended their congratulations to the couple. Deepika, 38, and Ranveer, also 38, exchanged vows in a private wedding ceremony held in Lake Como, Italy, in 2018.
On the professional front, the couple will be seen together in Rohit Shetty’s “Singham Again,” alongside Ajay Devgn. Additionally, Ranveer will star in “Don 3,” while Deepika is set to feature in “Kalki 2898 AD.”
